Default can turtles get mites

hi can you tell if turtles get mite please?

i have seen some little spider like mites in the tank today just by the edge of the basking log

if he has got it how can i treat it ?

You can get little mite-like creatures in the tank, I've not heard of mites actually on the turtles themselves, good hygiene should be all that's needed to avoid or get rid of them.

hi sorry they are not on our turtle they have just appeared in the tank today

only cleaned him/her out yesterday you say abot good hygiene can you give alittle more advice on this please
