I bought my Adult Female plus Exo faunarium and sub for £25
That was from The Mill Garden Centre in Chesterfeld, who themselves have a reputation for being sometimes pricey..

£39 for emporers?... (I got my two for that including faunarium, exo hide, exo water bowl and substrate) actually, telling a lie, thinking back... it was actually £36.

If the store needs to put that high a mark up to make a profit, I would recommend changing suppliers as they could probably get better priced stock by buying from traders in this forum and marking up from there. (I am an accountant and I have considered the option myself!)

It's alright saying that this shop is a store therefore it needs to trade at store prices, but RFUK isn't a store, it's an internet forum, and therefore if you want to advertise your stock to an already internet savvy market then you need to be aware of your competitors. The Spider Shop and Virginia Cheeseman are two such. The breeders in the classifieds section are others... Compare your prices to them and assess whether you are likely to compete with them.

As regular forum members in here, it is the welcomed responsibilty of Graz and others, who are not just well trusted forum members, but also traders we see regularly at shows, to shout out from the rooftops if he or others feel that we are being overcharged.

Sorry if you dont like it... but we look after each other in here. And as you have just seen, things can get awfully defensive.

the prices have changed now i think if you dont like the sound of it go to the shop there high quality reptiles.
