Default new reptile shop in birmingham

as many fish keepers on here will know tropical waters in accocks green has an amazing reputuation. They have converted the top floor of their shop into a reptile room and its AMAZING! Not huge but big enough with employed people that know about reptiles, lovely set ups with happy lively reptiles and the best live food i've ever brought (honestly it lasts ages and is cheap too)
If you live in birmingham its worth a visit

Default Hi

If Dean puts as much commitment into his reptiles as he does his fish this will be an excellent shop,i'm sure
I have used the shop for years and never had any problems whatsoever

Thats a local of mine and it's where I got my Axolotl from. I'd like to see more amphibians in there though e.g. newts.

Default just to set the record straight

reply to * markalawton post -->> Well went there and they ain't cheap at all! etc...

just to set the record straight, the vivarium you are talking about is £129.99 , it is a 4ft vivarium - and comes with a 10% discount when bought with a reptile of any description - making the price £116

Just Thought I'd Let You Know.. Before You Slate The Shop To Much

Default Great place

I went here today with an open mind and was pleasently surprised it not that big at the moment but they are apprantly looking at extending the reptile area. The guy their was very friendly and helpful and knew his reps to. The prices are alot better than some of the other places around birmingham and when i brought my crix and locust he checked the tub for any dead one and topped it back up with live ones the price was reasonable to five tubs for a tenner. All in all great shop thanks

thats what i was on about. Cheap food. i don't know what they do to them but i've got hoppers i've had for 2 weeks and they are still alive, and they are always live in the box they don't sell dead ones. i've had them dead after a few days from some places or been sold half a box of dead ones.
