Default Crawl Cay Boa - basic info needed ASAP

Hi Guys

I have been told that the Crawl Cay is basically the same as BCI in husbandry, but likes it a little more humid in its hides.
Is this correct?
Any other basic info would be fab
Thanks

Thats how I keep mine. As per BCI with a slightly higher humidity. Mine are just about 9/10 months old now and they are living in separate faunariums. Will eventually go into 3 foot vivs, but I've been told by the king of all things Crawl Cay (Gaz, of course) that 3 feet is generous and as adults they could feasibly be kept in smaller vivs. really lovely snakes, definitely worth it!
They have a reputation for being slightly more snappy than mainland BCI but I have yet to see this - although one of them lunged for my face the other day - but being as little as he is he got nowhere near! if you search for 'crawl dwarf' on this sight you should get lots of pics and info. I want a little girl one, then when i've recovered from the financial blow i'll purchase a little boy one. lol cheers for that so the temps etc are the same. That seems fair enough.

no worries. Hope you decide to go for it, I think they are wonderful. A nice thing about them is that they are not big on hiding, and they quite like climbing, so they make quite a nice display. My two are always sat as high as they can get, Kind of in a strike pose (tho they don't strike, it seems to just be the way they sit!)
