Talking Impulse buy; Giant madagascan Hoggie; anyone got one?

As the above, had an accident in the rep shop.....I now am proud owner of above.
Care sheets I have found have been mainly American so was wondering if any one has got one and can give me advise on substrate, temps, etc.
He is about 4 yrs,...VERY hissy but all bluff....about 4 ft......
At the moment I have him in a large rub on orchid bark as that is what he was on, range of 85-95 and quite humid.
they told me he didnt need uv but the hodnose care sheet says they do.....usual contradictions so ...Leioheteroden Madagascariensis owners please step forward and help......

and please dont give me a hard time on an impulse buy....these things happen.............I know I have been a naughty girl but he will get the best care possible.............
Thanks in advance
Penny

.....yup, I know he is only bluffing cos everytime hubby goes near him he strikes, usually trying to get through the rub, everytime I do he just lets out a long slow hissssssssssssssssssss......and seems quite content after a few licks to just settle.........I dont think he likes men......lol ....

thanks ,I knew they were the same as the 'norm' hognoses in that respect just a tad more potent...lol
