Default Boa Constrictor Care sheet

This Is My First Care Sheet Lol. So Be Nice If I Get Slightly Off (:

Boa Constrictor Care

Note :
Boa Constrictors Are A Large Snake But Aren't As Large As Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons Etc.

Size :
Boa Constrictors Can Get
Males : 7-9ft
Females : 7-12ft
Although There Size Isn't As Large As Burmese Pythons A 10ft Boa Is Stronger Than A 10ft Burm By Far

Expeirence Level :
Boa Constrictors Are For Most People Really - They're Suitable For Beginners As Long As They Read Up On Them First And Make Sure y Know Its A Long Term Commitment , They Are For Anyone Overall Though Either Novince Or Expeirenced Keepers
[ It Is Not Recommened You Handle These Snakes Alone . A Second Pair Of Hands Is Advised. ]

Heating :
On The Hot Side The Temperature Should Be 90-92
And On The Cool Side It Should Be 78-85

Temperment :
Boa Constrictors Are Generally Docile And Friendly Creatures They Like To Be Handled And Are A Good Family Pet

Thanks For Reading !

All I'm gonna say is that care sheets should be written from EXPERIENCE by people with long-term care of the species.

"Boa Constrictor" covers a few different species/subspecies of snake which can range from 3ft up to around 14ft.

You missed out humidity requirements completely, and it's just too basic IMO, kinda like it'd been written by a child (apologies if you're only young here).

*EDIT* you also gave no methods of heating, didn't comment on feeding schedules/what they eat etc. There's no mention of their origins in the wild or even their natural habitat. Also no mention of housing, either for juveniles or adults.

Also no snake "likes to be handled" they become tolerable......snakes generally prefer it if they get left alone tbh.

*EDIT 2* It seems also that you wrote this thread in caps (which would annoy the reader greatly), and because of this, the forum has reduced this to lower-case with the first letter of every word in caps, which is frustrating to read.

I thought it was a handy quick breifing... But yeah it is a lil short, that's why I called it a "breifing" not a care sheet.

the temperature in the hot end of the viv is way to high fora boa maby a python ye but that temperature could serously damage a boas head.

A friend of mine had a resue boa that the vivarium was round 90 - 95f and the boa seamed asif it was on drugs when he got it.

The hot end should be between 80-85f and the cool end 75-80f

they would not experence such high temperatures on the floor of the South american rainforest. (90f = 32c) the avarge temperature on the forest floor is approx 82f = 28c
