One question SSam please.
It says in the care sheet (Older snakes should be fed on an appropriately sized meal every 2 weeks to avoid becoming overweight.) My normal is about 5yo and just over 4ft long, He is eating a mediun rat every 7 days and strikes hard and fast every time, Am i feeding him to often or is that OK.  I have only had him a couple of month but the previous owner wasent looking after him at all, (quite a lot of body scars and under weight etc)

If he is underweight then I would feed him every 7 days, once he has put on weight then I would switch to every 10-14 days on an appropriate sized food item
