Viper lover good to see that your going to get a king snake. What subspecies/ species are you thinking of? There are plenty of caresheets already on this forum somewhere, or just google it.

I am interested in California Kings, Mexican Black Kings, Black Kings or Scarlett Kings.

I had a cali as my first snake, they are brilliant snakes and so interesting. My favorite kings have to be the MBKs and the grey banded kings though.

Bob Applegate offers a free online version of his out of print classic book, "The General Care and Maintenance of Milksnakes." It's a lot better than a caresheet...
