Whilst I in no way claim to be a pro, I'll tell you that I feed mine (both '07s) about once a month or so on large weaner rats, usually one, sometimes two. Congrats on getting your boa, hope he brings you a lot of pleasure!

Is a 9l RUB to small then? Gaz said a 9l would be fine. He will be moving into a 2x1x16 in about a month after though.

I'm sure if Gaz said a 9l rub is fine, a 9l rub is fine. The caresheet I've written is simply how I have done things so far, accompanied by some information from other sources. I have yet to even breed these so don't think that what I say is gospel...just one guys experience from one pair of animals (that aren't even mature yet!).

It worked for me, but there are always different ways of doing things. I usually put snakes in bigger tubs than generally recommended when young, and have no problems

There are enclosure pics further up the thread bud

As for temperament, the male is very soft and laid back...however the female is pretty variable, puppy dog like at times or like a screaming banshee at others... I have yet to actually get tagged by her, but that is down to how slow she is about striking and how predictable she is rather than her lack of effort.

sorry about my laziness , thanks, so I guess they like lots of branches and arboreal space too? Will keep that in mind.
