I have used that trick to catch bait for fishing. Very good idea.

Default I know where he is

He went through a small hole into the floorboards, I am thinking about putting a tank over the hole put a heat mat on put a rat pup in the tank and put a trap in the tank too. Think that would work?

I'll have to give this a try next time I lose a snake (Found an escaped albino king in my bearded dragon viv-how it got out of his hatchling box and into their viv i'll never know, luckily we were their when he done it!)

My friend lost his 7 foot boa last week in a studio flat!!! Could not find it anywhere, then 5 days later it turns up under his bed! How you lose a 7ft snake i don't know...but at least it didn't turn up at the neighbours, they weren't to pleased a snake was on the loose in their block, imagine if we'd told them how big it was......

Well I tried this last night and it didn't work My 8 week old corn is on the loose. God knows how he escaped because I checked his tub and the lid was secure and ther there are no gaps I'm starting to think he's been abducted by aliens - that would make more sense. He was last fed last Friday and then Sunday (he had just gone nearly 3 weeks of non-feeding). I am extremely worried about him. I've checked all my laundry baskets and in all the corners, under the settees, behind the tumble dryer. Would he be able to climb the stairs (carpet)? If so I'm knackered cos there's about a million hiding places upstairs.

Any suggestions on how to find him? Where is he likely to be hiding?

Thanks
