Default REHOME***Albino green burmese python :( :( Hampshire

im currently not 100% yet as i am trying one more treatment i have been adviced to use by a knowledgable member on here but if this doesn not work on him i will be forced to rehome due to not having money for the vets bills at this moment in time i am treating with home treat methods he is suffering from scale rot ,he is my fave fave snake and first ever burm so i really need him to go to someone who will treat him and get him better and keep me updated on him please as he will be missed so much

if you do a search through my threads you will find loads of pics of him ,he is really really tame and around 7 n half ft long eats 1 small rabbit a month

or if anyone has any advice on scale rot treatments please pm me

seriously just get him to the vets ASAP mate reguardless of cost that can become serious very quickly.... talk to your vet and explain your skint and they are normally pretty good with paying in installments...

i went there the other day regarding his scale rot and they said they will require a deposit for installments upfront im currently trying to get some money together to treat him atm

im going to try the other vets around this area later


gonna sound cheeky now but is there anyone who has the required cream (flamazine) and would treat him for me i will pay whoever treats him but my first choice vets rekon i could be looking at 150-200 quid + so im unsure atm on what to do

my crisis is im on ema and only get 20 quid a week for being in college so money is tight but im going to pop down the other local vets at 3 and see what they can do for me

Would F10 help the scale rot, diluted and allow the animal to soak??

i have read that it does help but have also read your not supposed to bath them so hopefully someone can shed some light

While you are waiting make sure you keep everything really clean and not too moist. Up temps a little.

ive upped my temps by 4F and i change his newspaper daily given him a small waterbowl and ive been daily treating with a iodine soloution diluted with luke warm water by 50%
