Default Corn Island boa

My 07 male corn isle looking fabulous after a recent shed. Hes getting big now, almost 450 grams. Is it so true when Vin Russo said feeding boas less makes them grow faster. I only feed Beaux twice a month on an adult mouse.

lovely big spurs to tickle his ladies J'adore and Clementine in a few years

He's doing great.

My little girl has suddenly decided to strike feed anything and everything after being a really bad feeder up until now so hopefully she'll be catching him up.

My females were a pain in the arse for months. One has been doing well for a while and is catching up with Beaux but refuses to eat rats. The other which Anne now has refused to eat mice when she arrived a few months ago. She had been fed mice all her life with Ian, then decided she wanted chicks when she was at mine now she strike feeds on rats for Anne LOL!

You so have to stop putting up pics of your Corn Isles, they'll killing me! I'd love a pair! So stunning! We've actually reduced the food intake of our dwarf boa and our BRB's and have found they seem to be functioning much better on less food, they're all on small rats and spacing the meals further apart really agrees with them! Just shows, less is more!

ABSOLUTLY. Boas just don't need to eat any more often than once a week. Hes only a baby, but I refuse to feed him any more often than I do as he is growing well, perfectly healthy, active, sheds frequently and has fantastic body shape and muscle tone. He eats roughly 60 grams of food a month split between two ex breeder adult mice.
