Default Dwarf Boa

Well, here is my new little one.

Only picked him up today, so no proper pics as of yet. He is quite a cool looking little one though.

Kinda always wanted a boa, but never wanted a 10ft+ one, so this is the best all round fix.

TBH he was bought as a "central american dwarf boa", so not entirely sure

looks very ncie if it was just a CA boa then its either a cross between 2 localities or of unknown heritage. very nice anyway

That's why I just call it a dwarf boa TBH "true" localities aren't my thing. If an animal looks nice to ME then I like it, heritage aint everything it's cracked up to be.

One more pic:

pic quality aint that good, taklen through dirty glass.

I do love the shape/look of a boa head

i like your attitude. whilst i like pure localities and belive they should be kept pure incase of whatever i dont think mixes between them are bad if the snake looks nice for example. can you imagine a fire bellied honduran to a corn isle boa?!

Yes, I kinda can see your point of view, but the search for true localities are what has caused the total destruction of populations (think Hog Island Boa, NON left there at all).

Lets face it as well, its the crossing of species that has produced some of the best looking animals out there. Horses for courses I say.

I guess I just don't discount anything just because its not "pure"

ok, I admit it, I love this one, here is another pic (a bit better one)

Also like to add this little bugger gave me my first bite in around 11-12 years, quick little thing, I won't change his water for a few days and leave him be, lol:

Think I might call him Mo, cos he has such a blatant moustache!
