Default Corn pix...again!

I think I'm going to call this boy domino now...he's got such a crazy pattern, composed of millions of belly checkers, and a zigzag on top. His face is going to turn out quite light I think, and he's developing lots of yellow, including on the tip of his nose. He's about 8 months.

Interesting pic of bloodred- I am sure you can see where the belly checkers should be. I read about why morphs like bloodred have a clear belly, because of the neural crest migration thing (Charles Pritzel's book) and it's because pigment begins in the centre of the back migrating down, and with these morphs it is stopped from going any further than the edge of the belly. But obviously what with selective breeding for increased red pigment, the red can keep going, and I think it is a bit stronger where the checkers would normally be. Obviously I could be completely wrong...

Blizzard in her new skin-extremely slippery!
