Awww, love all the pics!

We've got a rescued baby burmese who we're having to force-feed at the moment. He's about 7 months old and still the size of a week old hatchling :-(
But he is taking food down a little better now so hopefully we'll get him to put some weight on soon

Here's a photo:

the head wont shrink in... if she gets really really underweight she will digest harf her heart witch will make her head bigger so ive heard (steve erwin said it on one of his doc's)

if she loses all the fat reserves the head sinks in, also does if snake is very dehydrated, i have seen it alot, especially with fresh imports unfortunately, they lose all reserve fat and muscle tone so the head seems sunken and can make the eyes seem bigger,

although the head doesnt seem sunken in the way i've seen them looking at it again.

He was originally bred by a friend of mine then passed onto my other friend's reptile shop to be sold. Him and one other have never eaten on their own and so have always had to be force-fed, but as this was always a last resort he has lost weight.

I thought he had some retained shed on one of his eyes, but according to my friend (the shop owner) it is actually a slight problem with his brille, due to him being under weight? I have checked for mites, but I can't see any evidence of them on him, so think he's clean!

He was dehydrated when we first got him, but now he has a moisture chamber and I do try to keep the humidity up in his viv, so I don't think that that is a problem now. Also he is a lot more active than when we first got him.
