Default wild british snakes

ive searched the forum for a thread of this type and havnt had any luck finding one simalar so pls excuse if there is as im new to the forum and forums in general, about 6 months ago we had a 2 month period where our cat was bringing home our native reptiles ,ie: snakes and common wall lizards ,as we live a stones throw from our local river.

anyway i thought as we are all snake enthusiasts some of u may have pictures of our native animals (grass snakes, smooths, and adders) ,im fairly new to snakes as this event pushed my interest in the hobby to actualy getting my first ,and yes its as addictive as most ppl warn lol,so if u have any pics taken by yourself(not googled)it would be great to see them here thanks heres mine the Grass Snake (natrix natrix) let me know wot u guys n gals think.

playing dead

jus woke up

in the tub

down the river

released back into the wild AMAZING!

Basically my mates mum spotted a load of hatchings in her garden in a trench dug for laying foundations. She has about a million cats also, so I moved what I could find to my parents pond at the bottom of their field. They vanished in a mater of seconds.
