Sorry to be ignorant but I've never heard of bredl pythons...are they like carpet pythons?

they used to be a subspecies M. spilotes bredli or the centralian carpet python. But they have been split into a seperate species because they don't integrade with other carpet pythons. They are now M. bredli or Bredl's Python.

Carpet pythons and morelia in general are very variable, and they all interbreed in captivity with some regularity. They show that species and subspecies boundaries can be very fluid.

Ah okay, thanks for clearing that up...I thought they look an awful lot like carpet pythons that's why I was confused lol

Not him but his father..... He found them first and got them named after him.....

Just to pick up on what SW Morelia said. the feeding response on these guys is phenominal!!!!!!! i think its part of the charm and attraction with them. you know feeding time will always be a giggle with them involved.

but weirdly once mine have eaten they calm right down and dont seem to bother anymore.

funny thing they do!

well all u buggers showing of your Bredls!!!! I ve wanted one for about a year and a half maybe 2 years!!! By showing me your u made me want one so bad, was gonna get one this year when i found one and i have found one early this year so should be coming home next sunday cant wait they really do sound like ace fun
