its not dwa its a dinodon, not sure if anywork has been done on teeth to check for back fangs etc though, loads of asian colubrids are backfanged for some reason, thier a very common family, most of them like high humidity and eat various reptiles and frogs, they can be switched to rodents, the big problem is virtually all are wc and they usually carry significant parasite loads, which seem to bloom quickly after capture, if they were to become more available as cb i think they would be very popular.

Stunning photos! Makes a nice change to see something a little different . I've only been on this forum a few days and even I could see that certain species make up the majority of snakes kept on here.

that first upset one is the yunan stinking goddess, the nominate for is often kept though they are high strung, most of thier wild diet is other snakes, unusual for a ratsnake, thier big hefty buggers too, very heavily keeled scales and a legendary musk, hence the name stinking goddess, the first ones i saw in the flesh had blood red eyes, thier quite spectacular.

can you imagine seeing some of these pop out of an egg, i bet lots of them have bizarre juvenile colours, i wouldnt be surprised if a lot of them have never been seen in thier juvenile forms
