Are their necks permanently flattened like that or can they do it when they want to and need to?

nice pics. almost make me wanna get one but i've been told they smell! i got a nice pic in local shop of a monacled cobra in hood. unfortunately i've never been able to get my phone connected to the computer

Nice snake man, my local pet shop has a breeding pair at the mo, there great, really active but really agressive though

yeh he is a grate snake and he is fine to handle he has never tried to bite he just displays lol and he is about 3 ft so got growing to do
