Default Ok I Agree Ive Got The Bug :)

Well since i got my corn 2-3 weeks ago am addicted to snakes and my mam said i acn get a royal python

Need some info :-

Are they the same as corsn to look after part from there fussyness?
Like temps
Heatmats
food
anything esle plz replie

And is a 3ft tank big enough when its older

They are far from the same as corns i have sent you a forum pm to add me to msn as u dont live far away i might be able to help you a bit although i myself am a begginner i have read alot of the theory and have a fair bit of common knowledge on royals so i might be of some help ;p

they do need hotter temps than a corn mine are kept with a hot side of 90f and do well at that temp....although some royals dont mind being handled i would say that its best not to handle them daily like you can a corn...they can also take time to settle into a new home so dont handle at all till its had at least 2 consecutive(sp) feeds for you ..they are great snakes to own though despite some being a pain to feed...keep young ones in tubs and then vivs when older so use a mat for the tub and ceramic or heat bulb in a viv using a stat on them of course

Both corns and royals are simple to keep mate, read up as many care sheets as you can and you'll be fine, its not rocket science lol you'll be grand, congrats on the new snakes.
