hi there (i havent a clue why this is in bold o.o) but anyways, if your looking for the correct size for a young snake i suggest you look at the faunariums as i find they are best suited to younger and or smaller snakes, bare in mind that its not really the size of the enclosure the snake is in that counts its the number of hides it has available size in terms of vivs/faunariums etc doesnt matter all you have to think about is this question really: "if in the wild would the snake be in a small enclosed area of surface land?" the answer is no however the animal would find lots of places to hide etc

^^ what im trying to say by that is it doesnt really matter what size you get aslong as theres lots of hides hehe :]

so i would say get a large flat top faunarium :]

I suggest looking at this list also for equipment you may want to consider:

The Complete Royal / Ball Python Kit Basic Includes the following
Habistat Mat Thermostat
Habistat Heat Pad 6" x 11" 7w
Exo Terra Faunarium Flat Large
Exo Terra Hide Cave (Medium)
Exo Terra Water Dish (Medium)
Exo Terra Plastic Plant (Small)
Digital Thermometer
Cork Bark Hide Small
Ball Python Manual

You can purchase such a starter kit either from the supplies site in my siggy or by visiting: Complete Royal / Ball Python Starter Kit (Basic) Buy cheap Reptile Equipment

However SH Supplies will probably work out cheaper :]

Hope this helps

i'd go for corns. royals just don't do it for me and corns come in loads of different colours. and royals have a tendency to fast, they might not bother you if you're expecting it but it'll worry the hell out of me.

so get a corn.
