Default CCP and Chicks

Do you think an 8ft CCP would outright refuse a chick?
I'm asking coz, my burm won't even look at anything smaller than a real challenge... well... he'll "kill" it and then just go to sleep

But my CCP aint taken anything in 2months now and I was wondering if there's any point seeing if he'll go for a chick.

Have you tried a gerbil? They usually go down well.

Cant see any problems with a chick as they eat birds in the wild, i feed mine chicks to break the boredom of rats and mice only diets !
i wouldnt worry about him not feeding as its that time of year

I know chicks are cheap so it's not a problem if he didn't take it... I just thought he might think, at his size, like, "What the hell is that poxy thing, I aint bothered about that mate", which is what my burm does pretty much. If that was the case and he would eat it if it was bigger, I might have ended up ruling out something I shouldn't. Surely you can get bigger chicks.
If that makes sense.

I'll have a look for some then. And get a gerbil to try

I can't pinpoint any one thing that might have made him stop eating, everything seems ok
