buy some frontline, you'll probably have to see a vet, buy the spray.
Search for threads posted by me, I posted a few bits and bobs about mites. I'd also buy another tub the same as the one you keep the 'tic in.

Defenders - Safe Effective Natural Biologist Pest Control for Gardeners Get on this site and order some Hypoaspis mites, they are mites that feed on snake mites, once there is no snake mites left, they die off! No need to strip viv down or anything.
I got some 3 weeks ago and they seem to have done the job ![]()
