Default AAAArgghh mites

just found mites in my retics tub, just emptied the tub, put kitchen roll down and cleaned all the furtiture

Now what do I do next?? Im going to empty the FWC's tank and my boas and clean them all out

what next?

buy some frontline, you'll probably have to see a vet, buy the spray.

Search for threads posted by me, I posted a few bits and bobs about mites.

I'd also buy another tub the same as the one you keep the 'tic in.

cos you cant buy frontline over the counter? theres a sticky at top of snake forum bit about mites, very helpful..

Defenders - Safe Effective Natural Biologist Pest Control for Gardeners Get on this site and order some Hypoaspis mites, they are mites that feed on snake mites, once there is no snake mites left, they die off! No need to strip viv down or anything.
I got some 3 weeks ago and they seem to have done the job

Frontline has, I believe, been derestricted so vet not needed. Definitely the best stuff to use.

when ever mites pop up on anything of mine i use HOBBY reptix first aid vermin spray clears it up every time and does it quick

where do you get that from mate?? do you spray the snake and RUB or just the RUB?
