Default Any clues?

I'm so confused! if i breed a normal with a 100% het for albino what would the outcome be? would i get any visable albino's from breeding these 2? Also I've seen some 66% het albino's, is there anyway of me telling which one is a het and which is a normal?

No, to get a visual you would need a pair of 100% het albinos.
Albino x normal = 100% het albinos
Albino x 100% het albino = 2 albinos
100% het albino x normal = 66% het albino.
I am sure i have got it right but am abit tired, i will try and find the link abd post it in a minute

yeah they seam right to me... if you breed a 100% het with a normal you wouldn't get any visuals. Basically you need to breed 2 100% hets to have a possibility of getting visuals.

What you would get is a litter that has 33% normals, and 66% hets for albino.. you would need to breed these to confirm which ones carry the het for albino

Did I get all that right?

Just to confirm, that would be 50% Albino's. How many you would get depends on your clutch success rates, of course.

All in all, it's pretty accurate though.

I haven't done genetics for a few years since A level, but would it not be as below?

N=Normal
A=Albino

Normal = NN
Het = NA

....N....A
N NN NA
N NN NA

Therefore 50% Normal, and 50% het, all looking the same?
