Default humidity

currently the humidity is on 70% but cant seem to get it down to 50-60%. any suggestions as i am struggling to get it down. it also still seems dry, is this normal?

Move the water bowl further to the cool end...less water, smaller deep bowl...more air venting... you could try each of these...

What snake is in the viv?

The viv will seem dry, this is nomal.

what substrate are you using also? I find when I use orchid bark I get condensation (sp) and really high humidity...

aspen at the mo. this holds no humidity

Have you tried doing what pied said? I would have said exactly the same thing lol

i think i have enough ventilation, the water bowl is not huge and it is in the cool end.

Have you tried taking a reading of the humidity in the room the viv is in? maybe you've just got a general high humidity which theres not much you can do for really, I know when it rained yesterday my houses humidity went through the roof thus so did my vivs
