It seems to be the trend for losing snakes at the mo so when i came home from work to find my spotty python missing I nearly shat me pants.

Luckily I found him almost straight away hiding under my bed in a wash basket!

Dont have a clue how he got out there are no holes or anything and the doors were locked shut. Think he must of squeezed through the vent.

I am lucky to have found him so good luck to the others on here with AWOL pets!

ONe of my Sand Boa's got out through the gap in between the glass panes this week. I have since blocked it up with newspaper. Poor sod fell 3 ft onto the table and then about another 3 onto the floor.

Luckily (!) the cats found her and alerted me to her presence under a towel in my spare room.

it is annoying andy when they have been in a viv for weeks then do one.

sounds like a plan to keep him in his old viv until he gets bigger

Yeah he is ok in there obviously didnt like his bigger house!

I found out yesterday my neighbours keep snakes and lizards! Which is good cos i am working away alot at the moment and needed someone to call in and check on my snake and change his water!

I am getting a Dumeril Boa in a few weeks I cant wait so I think that will be OK in the bigger viv. It means i will have to build another for my python when it gets bigger!
