How old is your snake?? Could just be a seasonal thing...longer nights, shorter days. If nothings changed, and you havent added anything new, i would just leave her alone for a couple days, with no disturbances, and see if this will calm her down. You dont have a cat around at all...do you??

As Pamela mentioned, domestic animals do tend to spook the snakes, even the scent of them. Any flucturations in temperatures at all?

I wouldn't worry about it, aslong as it's only a one off. What temperatures do you have? (Cool and Warm end).

Strange. There was a thread not so long ago about the same behaviour but in a Mexican Black Kingsnake. I don't think they found out what was the cause either, But I imagine the snake is fine and thriving again. Just a one off I think.

Keep an eye on it, If it happens again, Possibly a trip to the vets. I wondered with the Mexican Black in the last thread, That it was due to heating. Too Hot > Neurological Problems > Mental Behaviour. But Im sure something just spooked your snake, Keep an eye on him/her.
