Convince her to go to a pet shop with you and ask to handle a couple of corns they usually will let you because theres a chance of a sale, show your parents that you will handle it and that you know what your talking about, she may think it will grow huge so show her the babies and say the size that they grow to so that doesnt put her off.
Good luck mate xD
Peter.

She needs to hold one and see that they are not a threat, if you make sure the one she holds is tame she might start to appreciate their beauty (make sure its a really pretty one like a baby snow, girls love pink) rather than see them as something dangerous!!!

Not that this helps but all my friends say that they wont stay over at my house now incase my snakes come and get them in the night....as if I have 2x 08 royals locked away in Rubs...what can they do really!

i had the same thing my mum never let have a snake ,had to wait till i moved out was worth the wait tho, you could allways tell her your moving out so you can have a snake she may then understand how much you want one and give in

My mum was ok with me getting a snake. But as soon as she saw little Stheno she is trying to steal her

Just give your mum as much information as possible, from hatchling size they don't need much space and they're not going to get her in the night.

The word "Snake" has so many negative views around it, if you actually show her the cute size a corn starts at then I'm sure you can swing her to the dark side

Long time Mitch, good to see you back on the boards

Just take your mum to a local shop and let her handle and speak to the owner and encourage her to ask questions...always works at the shop near me mums come in with no intention of buying and after about 10 mins they habve bought a setup with a corn
