Default Shops food suppliers

Hey guys, rang up a reliable source of knowledge yesterday to enquire why, since I had moved to another part of the counrty, my little mangrove has decided to turn down his food some of the time, obviously it could be a number of reasons they are notorious at doing this. HOWEVER I was told by him that the most likely reason is the food suppier to the shop. I used to buy my mice of him, a great little shop called Ameyzoo and when I did he never missed a feed, even with my watching he would chew it down. Now it takes all night with cover and that doesnt work some of the time. Anyone ever had this happen?

How long ago did you move? Could be the moving that's unsettled him for a little while......

Well u'd think but I fed him fairly soon after he was moved the first time and he didnt miss a beat, and a month now so I doubt its that I did leave it a while before trying when I came here.

you can get some food suppliers that dont supply 'fresh' food, ive had some mice that have stunk to high heaven when defrosted, and their coats were matted, all with signs of having been defrosted and re-frozen perhaps in transit etc..anyhow,my snakes didnt like it at all..luckily the next batch were perfect..have you tried mice from elsewhere>?as above, could be the move, but try changing supplier an see what happens?

The first time you fed him you must have had food left from your previous supplier I'm guessing. Which would indicate he doesn't like the new batch. As said, it could just be that lot you have and if you got some from there again he may eat it. You must have gone to a restaurant and not had as good good as you have there before. Similar sort of thing maybe........

I've not had the problem myself and I do not get my food from the same place all the time. Sometimes they don't have the size I need and I have to look elsewhere
