Default Snakes staying tucked up in bed?

I know snakes are notorius for staying in their hides all day but I have 2 royals and a corn snake that usually turn 6pm they are out and about in their rubs trying to trash the place! Especially Lola my female she usually comes out anytime of day if I enter the room and tries to push the lid off!

I have noticed for the past few days that they have all been staying tucked up in their hides.....I was just wondering if this was something to do with the change in weather (getting oh so cold) and the time of year...I know I want to stay all tucked up in bed

But they are on heat mats and thermostats and its all reading the same temps so do they know the diff?!

yep they will notice the change in temp heat mats heat the floor so they will be at the correct temps but the air will be colder than it was so that may have something to do with it, nothing to worry about tho my snakes have times when they are lazy and times when they are super active i guess only they know why

Good point! The temps are all good and I went for a little investigation earlier to check on them and they all feel nice and warm so yes the air temp could be doing it!

They'll sense the light change, the air temp change and the barometric pressure change too so they know it's winter and are just keeping themselves to themselves because of it most likely...

iv noticed similar, just when i think i can predict them they do something unpredictable, i just check the temps, heaters lights yada yada and if everything it still normal then i dont worry, i have noticed more changes in thier first 4 yrs or so, after that they get like ol farts and hate change.
