It bothers most diurnal species as they are visual hunters. Nocturnal hunters tend to rely on other senses so aren't as bothered by it.
That said, it will harm neither kind (or crepuscular for that matter). There will allways be exceptions and some snakes will just get spooked by it no matter what. |

few, just took a pic of me snake with flash its a Rainbow Boa so dont think it will bover him and he came towards the camer after the flashes sooo dont think he minds it!

My snakes don't seem bothered too much, but every photo I have taken of my Snow corn, Lucifer, his eyes always seem to reflect the camera light, so he always has glowy eyes in pretty much all the photos I have of him X3
