Default warning reptiles in bad health!!!! in pet shop must (READ)

hello i went to a pet shop today not saying any names but what i seen there was shocking and i was descusted at it also when i went in i was looking about to find an albino burn about 9ft in the same tank with 2 boas 1 was about 3ft and the other was about 9ft also and thay were both covered in mites and tics and thay had a warter bowl the size of a bowl that we use i just thought i would shear this with all you as i was very descusted by the way that the snakes were being kept but all the other snakes were in the same condition. i thought how could thay do this too such lovely reptiles i think thay should be shut down i am dieing to ring the r.s.p.c.a what do you think i should do. i also have pics but cant find bluetooth device to load pics on to comp and the snakes are in terible condition and thay are charging wat over the top prices for the reptiles even when that are in that condition. i will load pics up as soon i i find the divce.

my blood is boiling just thinking about and i can still see the stat that thay were in in my head. so what do you all think about this i know i am descusted at it myself. foaming i am

RSPCA are useless, I would call the local council and lket them know as they are the ones who issue the petshop licence.

Although not very wize due to IBD and other ethical issues you can actually keep pythons and boas together i know of a few pet shops that do this successfully without problems arising

ta, Dave

ps i dont support what they are doing i keep all my snakes apart all im saying is thats its at the shop owners discretion.

Sounds like a good solution. always better this way than having to ring the council IMO. Most people who run shops will listen to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism put over in the right manner.
