The snake is a 17ft burm and she has been eating 5Extra large rats every week...
just thinking would it be ok to stop feeding her every week and start feeding her 1 big rabbit or piglet or something once a mounth or every so often.
please tell me your views thanks very much.

do you not have a butchers who can supply rabbits?

Most reptile shops will supply piglets and rabbits on request although they tend to be expensive -

how did you manage to get a 17ft burm without coming across this problem before? I started to feed my burms rabbits at about 8ft .

Local farmers, especially if theres a pig breeders near by will be able to supply stillborn pigs as they're no use to then. Otherwise speak to local reptile shops and butchers and see who offers you best deal.
