its normally the second Saturday of march (14th 2009), September and December. Hope this helps!

How does it work at these shows if you want to buy something? I know that its a royal pain and/or expensive to import 1 animal but if you want to buy something off someone non UK based, is there a way to use the resources of someone there to get them back?

it totally depends on what you want to buy..i know nothing regarding the importation of CITES listed animals, but as far as the rest goes, there arent really restrictions - 1) buy animal 2) get a receipt from seller confirming animal/amount paid/etc 3) drive/ferry back to the uk..weve been stopped once coming back and to be honest they checked the paperwork of the animals we had but as soon as we mentioned snakes they didnt even want us to lift the polybox lids! Fairly simple really..we tend to contact some breeders in advance who we know we'll be getting stuff from, then pay and collect once there, saves the rushing around!

Only joking, i just think its an experience that shouldnt be missed, i just need to get the time off work now
