Default false water cobra viv

I got my first fwc a couple of days ago with a set up which should lst him anther 6 months or so, but i wont to start planning now for his bigger viv, i would like poeples advise and experiance on snakes that like higher humidit. what do you keeo them in, a glass or wooden viv? i know that spraying in a wooden viv is just goin to make it rot over time, but a large glass viv, for a adult snake of maybe 6 foot, is goin to be hard to heat. any ideas would be great thanks. i just want to get it right the first time

cheers

mikw

Only thing I can say is I have been told if you use a wooden vivarium for a animal with high humidity make sure you seal all the edges properly and it wont rot

FWC's don't need it particularly wet. The substrate should be dry. I give them a very large water tray but only spray when they are in shed. I've kept them in wooden vivs for years with no problems. The key to keeping fwc's is ease of cleaning and changing water. Keep it as simple as possible and use materials that are wipe clean. Also think about where you position the viv for feeding time. I've been chased around a room by hungry adult fwc's in the past. Don't put the viv at face height.
Space is also important, these are large and active snakes, they are generally fine without hides but they require as large a floor space as possible.

David.
