Default been learning corn genetics.... help!!

am I right in saying that an amel corn and a snow corn would only produce amel hatchlings????

I know none would be normal as there is no black pigment gene.

thanks for your help in advance.

is there a good morph to breed with an amel to make anything different??

If you want to make something other than either Normals or Amels with an Amel as one parent, the only thing you can really use is an Ultramel or Ultra - because the Ultra gene is codominant to Amel, combining the two in one snake creates a sort of intermediate hypo.

You'd need the offspring to inherit both Amel AND Bloodred from BOTH parents in order to get Amel Blood offspring.

And yes, if you bred an Amel to a Snow and the Amel WASN'T het anery, you'd only get Amel het Anery babies.

amel bloodreds (Fire) are awesome looking. You'd be able to get these in the second generation breeding if you bred an amel with a bloodred. All the hatchlings would be normal het amel and bloodred, breed two of these back to each other for a 1 in 16 chance of fires for each egg
