Default Jungle Carpet Python Help

Hi,
Wondering if someone can advise me please?
I have recently got a Jungle Carpet Python (4 weeks ago) & his scales seem to be going a little dry. Does this mean he is close to shedding? He has grown (he's only a yearling) but is as placid as ever....rarely hisses etc..... The humidity in his viv varies from 65-70.....
Just worries incase i'm doing anything wrong
Thanks in advance!

Most shed monthly around that age so there is a good chance.

In a 4ft x 2ft viv. He's about 3ft, maybe a little longer & eating a large mouse, once a week. Temp at 80 by the day & around 70 at night. Large water bowl under the heat light. Wood chips in there. Large lime wood piece so he can climb and a hide-away.
Sorry if theres to much info but i'm fairly new to keeping snakes....

try for temps around 85 in the middle of the viv, basking spot at 92 and only drop the temps at night to around 78. if the humidity goes to high move the water to the middle or cool end of the viv

My jcp also likes to use a moist hide when she is in shed. Just a tub -lid on, hole in lid, full of wet sphagnum moss. Your viv is big enough to stick one of those in while he's in shed if you like.
