Hi, this may sound like a silly question but like how easy is it to brake a snakes spine? I am NOT going to do it to try and find out so dont worry, but like the last few times ive had my snake out I was wondering how easy it is for them to damage themselves or accidently pull it a little to roughly and do some damage to them? especially on younger snakes like my corn hatchling that arent as sturdy as the bigger thicker snakes? I'm always worried im going to hurt her or end up breaking her back or something when I try and stop her from escaping up my sleave or somewhere else and would like to put my mind at rest that i'm not going to hurt her by pulling her back?!!!
Snakes are pretty tough, so I wouldnt worry. Just dont go mental and use it as a door stop.

I am a huge fan of bacon! If you hate the Hull based reptile rescue as much as I do, then I know we will get on like 'an Ant on fire. . .'
depends on the species! corns and many species are pretty resiliant - their spines are surrounded by very strong muscles so youd have to actually 'try' to damage them under normal circumstances. Obviously if its a baby GTP then thats another story... but you get the jist
(and ive worried about this myself! my cyanea seemed to 'crack' when i handled him!! it took me ages to realise it was him 'squeeking' one part of himself against another lol!!!)
