Contact your local council to find out. It differs in different areas, in Telford and Wrekin it's about £45 + vet fees.

This is technically untrue.. all councils MUST offer thw DWA license. However some councils will set the bar so high in terms of requirements that they never have to give one out. Equally some councils have astronomical fees to prevent them ever having to issue a license.

Middlesbrough doesnt seem to be anything about DWA think its down to population and size of city if i was back in devon it wouldnt cost much and easier to get cities specially where i am no chance of getting any. Its really more about the logistics of the location. I am not over worried its not like i want an asian cobra in the next week or anything. Although if you wanted to get venomous pets from european shows how would applying for permit work or dwa then?
