Default royal breeding question from a royal novice

Hi
I have a lovely normal royal - I was reading that there are some morphs I can breed her with that are co-dominant and that any offspring will be a 50/50 mix. Is this right and if so what morphs? I am hoping spider is one of them.

Here's a pic of my baby

Yes thats right, Well it wont actually be 50/50. There's just a 50% chance in every egg, So if your lucky you could get all spiders, or if your really unlucky youll end up with all normals. And Spider is Dominant But its still the same with co-dom.

Yup anything dominant or codominant will give you roughly 50/50split

Pastel
Spider
Pin
Bumblebee
Lesser
Mojave
Cinnamon
Yellow Belly
Fire

are a few you can use.

yes, spider is dominant, it produces like a co-dom, but doesnt have a "super" form You will have a 50/50 chance of getting visual spiders from this combo ..
good luck x

damn, beaten to it! lol!

Actually, if a dominant gene is bred rather than a co-dom it'd make 100% of the co-dom, apart from spiders and pins, which dont have a super (dominant) form... and mess everything up

I.e Ivory x normal - 100% yellow belly
(I'm sure this is the case anyway)

Yeah in the case of the dominant (super) forms of co-dominants then yeah but only basic co-doms have been listed so no supers there but yeah super pastel x normal = pastels and ivory x normal = yellow belly because the yellow belly is essentially the het ivory.

Don't you love how confuzzling this all gets when you try and work it out but it all makes sense in our own heads.
