Insurance?

Does anyone know of any companies that will insure snakes please? Is it worth it? I am buying a few Royal morphs, and whilst no one snake is mega bucks, it's still more than I'd like to lose if the worst happened, plus, hopefully my collection will gradually expand.

i looked on the snake insurance site on the link and it was £85 for my snow corn, i think its worth it, you never now what will happen

£85 a year?

You can buy new ones for less than that.

Also, I believe they wont insure morphs for more than the cost of a normal, which is why we didnt bother...

yea i noticed that when i looked at insurance. Not a bad bad idea to cover vet costs if needed tho

I'm insured with exotics direct and they said they would insure my Pinstripe for the proper price not the normal Royal price and if i did it would be about an extra £50.00 per year on top of my normal premium, best to speak to them and get all the details 1st

I worry about exclusion clauses with insurance (but that is probably due to my having to pay to have it fixed when my first house got subsidence) so I put money aside into a snake fund instead.
