wow yes that will be brilliant, the best things about shed snake skin is you get the pattern also, it would be great to do a quiz with the older primary kids as to what skin comes from which snakes, so any would be nice. lol
It so worth it guys to do for the kids, hubby loves doing it and educating the kids he finds it so irritating when if in a petshop some parent tells their kids that leopard geckos change colour or snakes are slippy, so when they actually get to touch one. (hubby always extra extra careful and holds head and bum end) they are so surprised to feel that snakes feel dry and smooth. they then do projects after based on the 'zoo day' and so it benefits all all the ooohs and arhhs and errrrrrrr, yeauk and girly screams and boys nervous laughter and cools and wow makes his day (and thats just the dads of the kids after lol), he is tired at the end and we take two of each animal to give the other a rest, and i am a busy mum but luckily my mum keeps alot of my animals down her house and of course we have friends who will lend their creepy crawley for a day. so it may be tiring but it is sooooooooooooooo worth it. will put a up a few pics up of the day with the kids so you can all see who have helped with my request that all your items put to good use. the zoo day is in may confirmed this morning. |
