viv size - corn snake?

What size viv is suitable for a 2½' Corn??

last week I built a 2' viv..

but then wondered if it was big enough :\ he seams to have enough space but just wondering...

if I need a bigger one I'll make one and just use the 2ft one for my future hoggie

I think the general rule is 2/3rds of the snakes length so yours should be fine.....

I had the same dilemna about a month ago, when my corn was the sam size as yours, i got lots of info from here, various pet shops and other people. Some recommended 4ft, most were for 3ft as the average then some went for the 2ft. I bought a 3ft, because then when the snake is fully grown it should have enough room, because with a 2foot viv if your snake grows to 5ft there will not be enough room and you'd have to get another viv.. It just depends on how big the snake gets really, he/she will probably be ok in a 2ft for a little while, it just depends on how much he grows

will keep him in the 2' for now then...

and will find some space for a bigger viv after the summer..
