Default can soaking after a large meal make snakes feel more comfortable?

BRB is coming up to a shed but happily took her medium rat last night. After she'd eaten she went straight into the waterbowl and coiled up in it.

When I went to check everything this morning she was still there in the water - apparently she has not moved all night!

Normally she does not soak when she's coming up to shed, she usually just stays in her moist hides, but I have noticed she is soaking a lot at the moment, she was in the waterbowl on Friday as well. No sign of mites and temps are stable.

Could soaking help them feel more comfortable after a large meal?

Quite possibly. I often find my BRBs in the water bowl after a decent meal

Saying that they do like a soak before a shed though

has she had the same humidity since the last shed. also is the water bowl smaller than her hide.

sometimes i find my viper boas will stay in the water bowl after a feed, i put it down to securtiy, as if i need to feed them or clean them and there in there hide i lift it up and take them out, but if there in there water bowl i just pick that up with them in it, so believe they feel safer in it.

LOL as Crownan says, I have checked for mites and can't see anything at all. Also can't see how mites would come in, I have not had new subsrate recently, or introduced anything new into the viv other than the fogger.

Oddly enough the humidity is now much higher than her previous shed as I have put a fogger into the viv. It's inside a deep-sided casserole dish which is sitting in a large plastic tub to catch the water. The BRB is in the large plastic tub which only has about 2cm of water in it where the fogger has thrown it all about, though on Friday she was in the casserole dish itself, on top of the fogger (which wasn't running!).

I would say the plastic tub she's sitting in is about twice the size of her hides so I'm not sure it's a security issue.... She was in the moss hide at the hot end last night before she fed, and then she went straight into the water bowl.
