Id say a tape, a long heat mat. Purely on the basis that its flat. Makes life easier

gotta say heat cable all the way, 6m-23 quid, heated my whole snake rack, on 4 different shelves. if i had to buy a strip heat mat for each shelf would have been way more expensive! and works really well.

I use heat cable as I can arrange it to heat up different parts of my tubs. I use it with all my vision rack systems.

chaz at snakes n adders said i would need to run 7 passes on each shelf to sufficiently heat a 50l rub. How does everyone else use it? How do you set the heat cable up?
