uv lights

right i know for things like beardies the uv bulb has to be changed every 6-12 months. is it the same for snakes too?

just got one in the with the corn and was just woundering. also does it have to be uv? i know they don't require a light so could i use a normal tube light.

No snakes don't need UV so you can just use a normal tube and yes they do need changing every 12 months if you want to keep the UV. after 12 months they just produce normal light (i think)

i wouldnt have a snake 24/7 without light, they want to cycle...

and no uv, they get what they need from the meat they eat

how are they gonna cycle they got no legs ? and besides its a light not a pushbike !
