Question feeding my dice snakes

Hi there.
I have a pair of dice snakes which feed mainly on fish but will also feed on tadpoles or small frogs, each snake can go through between 6 and 10 fish each week.I don't want to have to part with these snakes but as they are growing up they are becoming very expensive. Can anybody out there think of a cheaper way, would it be harmfull to the snake if i used defrosted fresh fish or frogs and if i could where would i go about getting hold of them.thanks johng.

Have you tried them on mice? It works for garter snakes. Scent them with fish to start with ans slowly reduce the amount of scenting. Far better than fish and smell better when they come out the other end!
