i would doubt they can be imported. however there are russian wolf dogs that were bred to look like wolves. cant rememeber the breed name but should be easy to find online

i had one in the states but it is illegal...had the vets put he was a hybrid on the papers

here is me and my baby (hawk) about 10 years ago. he died last year

he was mahoosive and smarter than most of my friends at the time

Some one here breeds hybrids..the pups have to be assessed prior to selling, any exhibiting the Wolfe characteristics have to be destroyed & can not be sold

ive heard something about it but i wouldnt want to get something illegal, get found out and risk getting prosecuted and the animal being destroyed.

as a former wolf owner i can say they arent for everyone...they are lethally smart and it takes the right person to be able to train them well and properly. saying that i loved that animal more than anything in this world...i miss being owned by him

Excellent! If that's true then to even attempt to breed is IMO disgusting. Breed true for wolves for people who can truely care for them as captive wild animals or bred dogs. There is no reason at all to keep a wolf as a dog except for street cred/cool factor.

regards

Andy

I agree..ANY WILD TYPE ANIMAL WILL EVENTUALLY REVERT..no matter how socialised it is..example..people keeping fox's as pets eventually find this out..wild cats refuse to be tamed..these animals will tolerate you..but remain wild animals & should allways be handled with due care & caution
