Red face Somthing to think about . . .

I got this girl yesterday, she was in a tub half the size of the viv shes in now.
Shes in a 30inc viv and shes 3ft so its not to big for her.

However, when i checked on her today, her tail vibrated and she went for me.

I know its just the space, once she gets used to it she'll be fine but its somthing for people to think about if they think they have an aggresive snake.

Heres the little madam, trying to bite me, who's now named Seraphina

I'm confident she'll be fine in a few days and eat her mouse. If not, i'll just stick a large cardboard box in, so the viv seems smaller

Ideally you should leave well alone for a week for it to settle in.

As above - she is probably going to be stressed right now regardless of her viv size.

I have left well alone, i popped my head in to check on her today as she had lifted her heat mat up . . . so had to reposition hides etc to make sure she didn't do it again

Some of my corns (some from Claire, some not) rattle their tails sometimes. I just ignore it and pick them up, only one has ever tried to bite/strike and Calire was upfront and told me he was a bit grumpy. he's fine and tail rattles less than the others now.

Mine are all fine once they're out. I am sure she'll be fine when she settles in.
