A 2' viv is fine for an adult hoggie.

My female has her lazy times and her active times - often active time seems to be late afternoon early evening. Great fun when I put in a big pile of aspen and she makes burrows all through it. She's in a 3x2x2 and does tend to make use of all of her space.

They come out at dawn and dusk mostly, not quite nocturnal or diurnal lol (sp)

Mine goes NUTS sometimes, does laps of his faunariums, wakes me up some nights tearing around in there.
